Apply to Play Alive After Five
All local Greater Boise area bands are encouraged to apply!
Due to stage size, the maximum band size is 5 members. Bands with more than 5 members are still welcome to apply but will need to downsize their lineup for the performance. It is our understanding from the DBA that percussion is welcomed but must be in a simplified manner. Full kits are unallowable, and while working out a backline with the touring band may be an option on a case-by-case basis, please don’t depend on it and do not attempt to contact the touring bands’ management to negotiate such an arrangement. It’s only a 30-minute set — keep things simple and fun!
- Artists will be notified by May 1st for scheduling.
- Set-length must be 30 minutes beginning at 5:15 and ending promptly at 5:45.
- All musicians must be on-site and ready for sound-check at 4:45.
- Opening band will be set on stage in front of headlining band.
- We do ask that the bands be flexible with their stage plots and PA input requirements. We will be collecting an outline of stage plots to send along to Gigs prior to the AA5 season kickoff.
